Song of Night, book 5 - The Universe is What Keeps Mankind Alive

Many people of today, regardless of nationality, are self-dependent

Thinking that the path ahead can be cleared by believing in themselves

And lead a comfortable life

But those who adhere to such an ideal

When compared to people who see how they live in harmony with all

Shall experience more pain in the storm of the night

To tear down their wall of ego

Modern humans must pay a horrifying price

Man, with their own free will

Changing the Earth as they desire with their own hands

Selecting their own destinies, altering it… as long as they firmly believe this

Mankind will struggle in numerous ways, continue to fight

And, in the end

Will learn that it was for nothing

This is not saying that the efforts of man

Is something pointless

But such efforts should be made

To sense how the harmony of the universe is letting you live

And use the plentiful energy given to you at birth for that purpose

That is how your efforts should be made

When one misapprehends this and starts relying solely on their own hands

Their walls will grow thicker

Binding them

Trapping them behind the walls they erected themselves

And causing contiuous pain

Fanaticism in this era

Is different from

The curses and witchcraft many turned to in ancient days

Each individual being overconfident of their abilities

Struggling to live by depending only on themselves

Is the most significant form of fanaticism today

People do not live alone

As they form one giant spirit within the harmony of all

All you have to do is continue make efforts committed to your role within it

With that in mind, no matter how dark the age is

You should be able to keep moving forward without any worries

But people, unable to believe, rely only on their limited powers

Steal from one another

Deceive one another

Harm one another

Humans lose the ability to trust one another

The fanaticism of depending on only one’s self

Creates a horrid sense of distrust between people

Covering the entire society with a surprising amount of darkness

Say, if you can love and believe your neighbor

Society will become brighter

Loving and believing in your neighbor

Will allow you to realize your ability to love and trust

That will

Allow man to realize that they themselves are trusted

And loved by the entire universe

Yet many people of today

Only trust in themselves

They cannot trust their own family or neighbor

If they cannot trust, they cannot truly love

Meaning they cannot truly trust of love even themselves

And, of course, they cannot believe that they are loved

And trusted by the entire universe

That is the fanaticism spread among modern humans

Or rather a misguided belief, and that belief causes

Distrust towards humans

Distrust towards one’s self

Distrust towards the entire universe

When the storm of the night blows across terra firms

The many people of many countries

Will discover such distrust in their hearts

Being in a state where every person is living side-by-side with death

And distrust

Mankind will suffer from the pain of surviving while having their life threatened

And

Due to the pain

People who had been overconfident of their abilities

Will let go of the idea of relying solely on themselves

Some things in this world cannot be changed by their own limited powers

They will realize

And realize

That selfish efforts cannot extend lives

Or gain so-called happiness

And then finally

You will leave the fanaticism of today’s people of being overconfident in themselves

And realize how you are made to live within the harmony of the entire universe

Allowing you to finally be at peace

When you realize that

You will also no longer fear death

For those who were born with a material body on this Earth

To surpass their body as an individual

And surpass their ego as an individual

Truly letting go of everything and finding themselves living among all

Is not an easy task

And because it is so challenging

Many arduous trials await you

Still

When mankind passes these trials

And those who live as the universe itself

Grow in number

Morning will arrive on Earth
